The 440 is mid-range in Husqvarna’s range of occasional use chainsaws but is still built to the standard you would expect from one of the world’s leading manufacturers of professional chainsaws.

The Husqvarna 440 is packed full of features such as:-

Air Injection – to pre clean the air before it enters the air filter to give longer filter life.

A visible fuel level means that you can see when it is time to refuel. The flip-up tank caps make opening and closing the fuel and chain oil tanks easy when refuelling and refilling with chain oil.

Chain tensioning is achieved on the Husqvarna 440 by loosening a single nut (combination tool provided) and using the side chain tensioner which keeps your hands away from the chain whilst turning the adjuster. An aluminium side case makes the 440 more robust than other chainsaws on the market that use a plastic side case.

Access to the air filter is easy thanks to the snap-lock top cover which can be removed quickly to gain access to the top of the engine. Being able to snap off the cover is essential to minimising down time for those routine maintenance tasks.

The Husqvarna 440 is available with a 13” (33cm) or 15” (38cm) guide bar. Please note, cutting length will always be a little shorter than the bar length because of the way guide bars are measured. The difference between the guide bar length and cutting length varies by chainsaw model.
